Elise Galis

Elise Galis has found herself in organizations focused on church unity since her time at Ithaca College where she received her degree in Business Management and Psychology.

Prior to the Luis Palau Association, Elise served in two organizations that focused on church unity. Her most recent role was what brought her to Portland where she served as Regional Director.

Now, Elise has a unique role with TogetherPDX, a movement that exists to see the Portland/Vancouver metro area flourish by uniting, connecting, strengthening, and serving local churches, and leaders. Four initiatives exist within the movement: PastorsPDX, PrayerPDX, ServePDX, and SharePDX.

As the TogetherPDX Program Manager, Elise’s role is to cultivate relationships with members of these initiatives as well as leaders throughout the Portland metro area while providing administrative support to the movement. She will also bring best practices to network leaders in Portland and take learnings from Portland to share with city leaders nationally.

When she’s not championing unity in her city, Elise is usually spending time with her husband, Michael, and sweet dog, Emmy. You can often find them checking out new restaurants, playing board games, and exploring all the PNW has to offer like camping, hiking, and paddleboarding.
